Case Studies
1. The Venture Model in Action
Innovo applied the Venture Model within a global financial services firm. An internal team wanted to develop an identity and brand for a specific internal group to help the training and retention of staff. An innovation problem was developed and the problem was solved in teams using a number of innovation and creativity tools over the course of three days. The solutions to the problem were then filtered by the group and business cased by representatives of the teams. One week later each team presented their business case to the wider management team where one business case was chosen as the most innovative and effective for tacking the problem statement.
“The Venture method was very clever and it provided us with a new and innovative approach to problem solving. One of the keys to success was keeping it simple so no one person felt they could not participate, especially in some of the smaller group sessions. The sessions were very well planned in terms of activities and the goals/outputs and timelines were adhered to. Innovo grasped what we wanted to achieve which enabled a very successful outcome when the final presentations was made”

2. Psychometric Testing and Profiling in Support of Executive Selection and Recruitment
Innovo works with a leading global food manufacturer in providing specialist psychometric testing and profiling of all candidates for senior executive appointments. Innovo uses a battery of tests carefully selected and matched to evaluate and measure candidates against the client’s own specific management and strategic leadership competencies.
This process has proven to be very successful in repeatedly selecting candidates whose predicted high-performance and potential was ultimately matched to their actual performance in the field. In other words, a highly validated and accurate selection and development process that has proven to be of great value to the organisation by minimising potentially costly selection and appointment of candidates who are ill-equipped or unsuited for senior executive roles.
3. Sheehy Motors Customer Care Programme
Sheehy Motors, a leading distributor of Volkswagen, AUDI and Seat cars, retained Innovo to design and deliver a Customer Care Training programme for the company’s After-sales and Customer Support staff.
This highly interactive programme provided participants with a very clear understanding and knowledge of what constitutes excellent customers service. Participants learned how customers’ impressions are critical to the on-going and continued success of Sheehy Motors. In addition the programme also allowed participants to examine and understand how their own behaviour and the way they engage customers can have a critical positive or negative on the customers’ impression of the business.
Such was the success of the programme that Sheehy Motors retained Innovo to deliver a series of additional and Advanced Customer care Programmes for staff working across the entire organisation.
