Walking the Talk – Helping SME’s to Start, Develop and Grow

Having worked with entrepreneurs at all levels over the past 6 years, Innovo feel that we are embedded in this important indigenous sector.

Innovo have delivered enterprise and management development training for numerous County Enterprise Boards (CEB’s), Institutes of Technology, Area Partnerships, Leader Partnerships and specialist EU Funded programmes in the areas of Start Your Own Business courses, Business Planning courses, Marketing, Sales and Social Media courses, Financial Planning courses and Student Enterprise Awards support.

Many of the participants on these programmes have gone on to start their own enterprises and generated employment for them and for the employees they recruited into the businesses.

As business owners ourselves, we understand the challenges that SME’s face. Participants on Innovo courses were found to be more readily willing to take guidance on the basis that Innovo trainers had experience in running and managing their own businesses. Innovo trainers can demonstrate a comprehensive knowledge of relevant theory and best practice, and can reinforce this based on experiences in their own enterprises. This hasled to a demonstrated increase in the number of enterprise start-ups as a result of Innovo led enterprise training.

Due to our significant knowledge and experience of this sector, Innovo regularly apply our knowledge by assisting brands connect with the SME sector – no more so than our work over the past 4 years on the Ulster Bank Business Achievers Awards where Innovo are responsible for the design, development and management of the awards on an annual basis.
