Effective Communications for Maximum Impact
Communication lies at the heart of all interpersonal relationships and great communicators know how to assess an audience, analyse a situation, and frame a discussion. Innovo’s communication skills course trains participants to deliver clear and unambiguous messages – messages that can be understood by all regardless of whether delivered verbally, face-to face, over the telephone or as written communication.
But communication is not just a one-way process. Participants on our communication programmes learn that in order to communicate effectively they must of course learn to listen to what the other person is saying and, also, to use effective (open, closed and probing) questioning styles as appropriate to help validate their understanding or to elicit additional information.
Participants also learn that excellent communicators have learned to flex and adapt their communication styles to match that of the other party. Our communications programmes train participants such that they too can ‘get on to the other person’s wave-length’.
